DESCRIPTION:Looking for a bisexual brunch in Colorado with your people? Queers & Quiche is exactly that. This potluck brunch meetup is always a good ol’ time. Anyone under the rainbow is welcome. We hang out at my place in Longmont\, eat\, play games\, and get to know other Bi+/Queer people in the Denver/Boulder area. \nPlease bring: Something brunchy to share in your own dish or container. If you like games\, feel free to bring one to play (sometimes we have a game table going). \nIf you’re not a cook\, don’t panic — we can always use ice\, paper plates\, plasticware\, napkins\, bubbly water (we all seem to love white wine)\, or even a bundle of wood (we’ll have a campfire going in the backyard). \nLet’s make Queers and Quiche a little greener! If you can\, bring your own non-disposable plate\, cup\, and utensils so we can cut down on waste. Cuzzzzz we’ve kinda been filling several trash bags. \nImportant to know: Q’s & Q’s is getting big\, which is awesome. AND it’s very helpful and cuts down on the clean-up to bring your food ready to serve in your own dish or vessel of some type (we’re pretty casual here). \nKindly pack it in and pack it out. I often can’t handle a lot of leftovers and don’t want the food to go to waste. Please leave with everything you arrived with. \nAll genders are warmly welcomed. We meet on the main level of my house\, but there are four steps leading up to the front door. Can’t wait to see everyone again! \nAllies are welcome assuming they are accompanied by their queer or questioning person. \nParking is available on the block south of the house\, the alley behind the house\, or anywhere in the neighborhood that does not have a No Parking sign. DESCRIPTION:Paddlers\, kayakers\, lake-lovers\, come join in on our first Lake Day of the year! Bring your favorite watercraft\, sunscreen\, snacks\, and grillable fare for a day at Standley Lake. Been curious to try? Come rent or share! \nNeed to know: \n\nCome to the north entrance off W 100th Ave near Simms; cost to enter the park is $7 per vehicle or $10 per watercraft\nStandley Lake does not allow glass or alcohol and is also a no-swim lake (this event is focused on paddling/kayaking and beach time)\nStandley Lake does not allow any large motor boats (see link for what is allowed)\nYou’ll need to have your craft decontaminated for invasive species prior to entering the water\, ask for instructions for this at the entrance gate\nOne life jacket per person is required on your craft while on the lake\nRentals are available (see link)\nWe will grab some picnic tables for food\, but bring camp chairs\, snacks\, or other comforts along with you. We’ll be at the day use/picnic area\nThis is an 18+ event\nFor more info\, rules\, rentals\, and FAQ Click here\nQuestions?
