You found us! BConnected Colorado is the LGBTQ social group Denver, Boulder, and Longmont’s Bi and Queer folks have built together for ten years. Everyone under the queer umbrella is welcome. Here’s how to find your people and help keep the community going.

Show Up

Come to a few BConnected events. Bi people make up most of the queer community but have few spaces to call our own. We’re everywhere and somehow nowhere. BConnected exists to end that. Keep coming back—that’s how you find your people. Read the group guidelines, bring a buddy if you want.

Sign up for the newsletter. It’s how we tell you what’s happening, and it keeps this community connected on our own terms instead of Meetup’s—the platform where we got our start.

When BConnected starts to feel like home, help take care of the house. A sustaining membership ($5 to $20 a month) is the most common way. Volunteering or hosting an event counts just as much.

What’s at Stake

Queer spaces disappear all the time. Bars close, groups fizzle, organizers burn out.
BConnected has lasted ten years because people kept it alive on purpose. Without sustaining members, events get harder to put on, we stay stuck on Meetup (which now charges our members to participate), and a few volunteers carry everything until they can’t anymore. Your membership is what keeps the door open for the next person trying to find this room.
