Welcome to the custom documentation for your WordPress website! This guide is designed to help you easily navigate and update your site.

The pages of your site are built using a collection of blocks. Each block represents a different element – like text, an image, a button, video, etc. – that you can add to your page or post. You just click a button to add a block, then type or upload your content right into it. You can easily move blocks around, resize them, or change settings with just a few clicks.

What is WordPress?

WordPress is a secure, scalable, multi-user platform used to build and manage a website without needing to know how to code. This means your site can grow as your business grows. New features can easily be added to your site, like:

  • a contact form for screening new clients
  • online appointment booking
  • a page for frequently asked questions (FAQ)
  • a newsletter sign up
  • a calendar of upcoming events

It means your site can support a client portal that lets your clients login to access account details or a members-only resource center.

It means that your site is SEO friendly and your content is searchable by all major search engines.

It means you can add access to your site as needed; give access to a content editor or SEO professional for example, without compromising security by sharing your own password.

Some Best Practices to keep your site running smoothly:

  1. Always Use Secure Passwords
(10 characters, combination of upper & lower case, numbers & symbols)
  2. Keep your site and plugins up-to-date
  3. Never upload images larger than 300kb to your website.  Large images will slow your site down.
