Looking for bisexual community in Longmont and Denver? We’ve got you. 😎 Finding other bi and queer people isn’t always easy. That’s why BConnected exists! And on October 10, we’re starting a new tradition to create a softer landing for newly out people: NewB Night, in Longmont.
Why Showing Up Matters
Coming out is hard. For a lot of people it’s isolating, even scary, and the isolation doesn’t always end the day you come out. You work up the nerve to go to an LGBTQ+ event, and it’s a packed bar or a big club, which is intimidating in its own way. Dating and hookup apps aren’t exactly community either.
Real community happens when people actually show up for each other. Not just once, but as a habit. That’s the whole idea behind NewB Night: create a low-key, recurring reason for bi and queer people across every stage of being out to end up in the same room.
A New Twice-a-Year Tradition
NewB Night is the kickoff of something we’re hoping to build twice a year, going forward. Snacks, drinks, good conversation, at a house in Longmont, with room to mingle inside and out. Come find your people.
Who’s Invited
Everyone under the rainbow is welcome. But since the bisexuals are hosting, we never miss a chance for a B-related pun, so tonight, you’re a NewB. 😎
That means anyone who’s come out in the last year, or anyone who still feels new to the community no matter how long you’ve technically been out. We’ll also have folks who’ve been out for decades there to mix, mingle, and welcome you in. Nobody’s counting your years. Come wherever you’re starting from.

This is a warm, easy welcome, with a few easy mixers to help people connect. Bring a straight friend or partner if that helps you ease in. Come solo if that’s easier. Either way, you’ll find people glad you showed up.
