A New Look for BConnected Colorado: Insights from Our Rebrand Journey

A Conversation on BConnected’s Rebrand

During our transition from a Meetup with no formal structure to an all new nonprofit, I realized we needed to rebrand. Our old logo was overly complex, featured an outdated version of the pride flag, and didn’t really reflect the vibe I wanted for the organization.

Crafting a New Vision

I found the World’s Greatest Bi Graphic Designer—Elissa Stanick-Woods, from Woodse Creative Co, and asked her to help me create our new look. She pushed me to define the personality of BConnected, and togehter we put a ton of thought and care into the new look.

From Concept to Creation

In this discussion, the two of us discussed the thought process behind the new design. We had several goals we wanted to accomplish visually, which I think we did. I’m very pleased with the new logo and supporting designs and LOVED the process of working with another Queer creative.

I can’t waiiiiiit to put all these fun graphics on stickers, hats, hoodies, tattoos, tagged on the sides of buildings, banners flying behind airplaines, you name it!
